This 75 year old vessel completes a 2500nm round trip from Cape code to Florida every year in one to two
weeks time each way.
J/V Junet is Huckins hull #207 and she spent most of her life being cherished by Albert Little of North Dartmouth,
MA. She has participated in many swordfish tournaments and still has her bamboo outriggers from her Hemingway
fishing days. The boat was purchased in the summer of 1999 by her current owner.
The current owner is a engineer and very capable boat builder, he did a great job refitting the boat to the standards
she was intended to have above and below deck.
The Sportsman 40 accommodation are two twin beds in the main salon, galley down, and a split v-berth in the bow.
On deck she is extremely well equipped for coastal passage making.
Her cruise speed is between 17-20 kn and her max speed is between 23-24kn, with a 450 nm range at displacement speed and a 224 nm range at planing speed.
Looking for a buyer who will appreciate the historical value that this boat radiates.
