Yamaha Master Tech & Project Manager

Walker Hilpert is a Jacksonville native who grew up in the Ortega area with much of his life centered around the water. He began his career in the marine industry at just 14 years old as a summer yard hand at Sadler Point Marina. What started as a summer job quickly became a passion, and Walker continued working on vessels throughout high school before pursuing a full-time career in the marine industry.
Over the years, Walker has developed extensive technical expertise, earning certifications as a Yamaha Master Technician, ABYC Master Technician, and ABBRA Certified Service Manager. He takes pride in troubleshooting complex issues and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others who are interested in working on vessels.
Walker joined Huckins in January 2026, and is excited to continue growing alongside the Huckins and Bristol team while once again working alongside his longtime mentor, Brooks
When he’s not at the marina, Walker enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and sailing. His approach to service is simple: he treats every vessel as if it were his own and believes that regular maintenance is the key to spending more time on the water with fewer problems.
