To enable JavaScript in AOL, perform the following steps:

 From the My AOL menu, click Preferences. |

 Click WWW. |
 |
 Click Security. |
 The Internet icon is highlighted by default. |
 |
 Click Custom Level. |
 Scroll to Scripting of Java applets, click to select Enable. |
 |
 Click OK. |
 Click Apply. |
 |
 Click OK. |
 Close Preferences. |
 |

Your browser stores many of its settings. The best way to ensure that changes take effect is to close AOL completely and then restart it. |
