For decades we’ve
to endure history as
well as make it.
When you take advantage of a Huckins brokerage listing opportunity, you’re not purchasing any old yacht. You’re buying into a legacy founded on performance and built to stand the test of time. Our legendary founder, Frank Huckins, pioneered the construction of cold-molded wooden hulls in the 1940s using resorcinol glue and double diagonally-planked mahogany.
These remarkably sturdy, lightweight hulls remained the yachting gold standard until the 1970s, when Huckins yet again pushed the envelope with foam-cored fiberglass composite construction. Our Yard was among the first to experiment with this technology, which helped usher in the composite revolution in the marine industry, and we continue to refine the process even today. One thing is certain: A Huckins from any era puts you at the helm of one of the best performing and most efficient yachts on the water.
