1985, Huckins built the largest yacht in the United States powered with Arneson surface piercing propeller drives and constructed a 78-foot Sport Cruising yacht designed for an owner confined to a wheel chair. This yacht was not only designed with wide doors and all handicap accessible features but it also had an elevator from the flying bridge to the engine room.
